The MPDI-4 packs four full preamp and DI circuits into a single rack unit. Gain runs from +10 to +60 dB in precise 5 dB steps, with a -20 dB input pad and a -10 dB output pad for hot sources and saturation control.
A ribbon low-impedance mode and a 600 ohm load option tailor the input to the microphone, and the transformers are bypassable when you want the wire-straight version of a source. Front-panel combo XLR/TS inputs, phase invert, and +48V per channel.

Questions, answered
Can the MPDI-4 handle ribbon microphones?
Yes. A dedicated ribbon low-impedance mode optimizes the input for ribbon mics, and phantom power is switched per channel so your ribbons stay safe.
